Instructor Rating FI(R).

The Pilot Centre is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to provide training for Instructor Ratings.

Before you can start the course you must have either a commercial licence, or a PPL with commercial theory exams and 200 hours flying experience.

The course

  • 30 hours flying
  • 125 hours of ground studies

You will need to pass a pre-course flight test before you can start the course. If you are interested in an FI rating please arrange to meet with Eva Ceh, our FIC instructor.

  • Core courses if you have adequate hours to become a type-rating instructor.
